Exercising my 2nd amendment rights
So, for Father's Day, my in-laws gave me a Remington 870 Wingmaster. I'm very excited! We went clay pigeon shooting last year, and I really got the itch get me something to shoot with.
As I recently mentioned, Josh took me shooting with his handgun, and my buddy Robb and I have been talking about going hunting for years. Neither of us had a gun, though, so it was always a "we should" conversation, and never a "let's go" conversation.
Now I need a cleaning kit, a real lock of some kind (maybe a cabinet or something) right now I have a barrel lock through the chamber (the kind intended for handguns...it works, though), and some ammunition. I'll work on all that over time, but for now I'm content with the fact that I'm across the biggest hurdle, which is initial cost.
Some day I'd definitely like to add a handgun to the mix, but for now I can't wait to take it out and kill some clay pigeons!
